Pure and simple, we love to spread joy around like confetti. Families affected by special needs have extra challenges and our mission is to lighten their load and bring a smile to their face.
Special Dreams has been making dreams come true for kids since 2011. Our non-profit status was official in 2015. At this time we primarily serve families in the Seattle, Washington area.
We believe children with disabilities should have every opportunity and experience their peers get to have. We want to celebrate them and support their families. We do this by providing Respite Days for parents to get a break, unique experiences and dream events for the kids, talent shows and a sensory-friendly Starry Night Prom. Our newest program involves adopting classrooms and donating adaptive equipment and supports for the special education classrooms.
